Durability of Music

Death almost never brings anyone together. Parents who lose their kids, family that loses a member, friends that lose friends.  This conclusion came to me a while ago when we, in a group of tightnit 3 Best friends lost one of us. The Best Friend that remained drifted away from me, at first it was my fault, since she was the only one that attended to the funeral. Then, probably not a year after, just simply because.  That was just four years after losing another person, which is a more of a complicated story. Oh no, self-pitying much? Nah. I've somehow managed to move on. However, sometimes I wonder what happened to her. We've been through a lot, after all. But then I simply don't care about people that don't even bother talking to me. Okay, that's probably a lie. Ps, don't google self-pity unless you want a bunch of bigots giving you unsolicited inspirational quotes. Update: omg it's actually fucking toxic, don't do it. Were it so, I

What's Mainstream Music?

Hello my moon children.🌙 How have you all been lately? Not missing me much, I see. (Why do all my posts start like this?) Anyway, let me start by saying that I don't like 21 Pilots. I really don't. They annoy the shit out of me, for the sake that their music isn't defined. Same thing happens with Imagine Dragons. So when someone asks "do you like [something]", I always don't know what to answer because I kinda do but kinda don't. There are songs that YES. I like them. There are others that simply make no sense but I love listening to it anyway. An example is - recently, someone suggested that I listened to Five Finger Death Punch. And what he hell did they do, I really liked the song. Yesterday, another someone suggested that I'd listen Three Days Grace. I fucking liked it. My best friends have been fans of these bands for years and always told me - take a listen. I always refused because "it was mainstream". But it was only am

The Whole of The Moon

It's 80's time on VH1 Classic and I find myself here, writing at "The Whole of The Moon" by Waterboys and I realize I've known all of these songs from the heart, but had no idea about the band's appearance. Unlike now a days, no one cared about it. This is the time I recall my mother listening all these songs on the car radio and singing along - something she doesn't do today anymore, since she's also moved on from the 80's, just like everyone else, much to my dismay. And the video clips were plain stupid, which makes it even better. Also realized that, it was probably 98 or 99 and almost 20 years since the songs were released yet, they still played on constant repeat on the radio. Now we have dedicated radios to the 80's, which plays everything but the 80's. - The world is in desperate need of a good punk-rock brand new band to spring up the scene back into the spotlight. It's not just the established bands that count. Everyone
