The Whole of The Moon

It's 80's time on VH1 Classic and I find myself here, writing at "The Whole of The Moon" by Waterboys and I realize I've known all of these songs from the heart, but had no idea about the band's appearance. Unlike now a days, no one cared about it. This is the time I recall my mother listening all these songs on the car radio and singing along - something she doesn't do today anymore, since she's also moved on from the 80's, just like everyone else, much to my dismay. And the video clips were plain stupid, which makes it even better. Also realized that, it was probably 98 or 99 and almost 20 years since the songs were released yet, they still played on constant repeat on the radio. Now we have dedicated radios to the 80's, which plays everything but the 80's. - The world is in desperate need of a good punk-rock brand new band to spring up the scene back into the spotlight. It's not just the established bands that count. Everyone

It's late in the morning again. I'm thinking about what to write that would make whoever visits this blog interact with me and since it's been 3 days since I last uploaded a post (sorry, I work part time and it's so dreadful, I'm physically drained after just 5 hours), so you'd assume that I have something reaaaaally special prepared. I actually don't. Yesterday after getting back from work at almost two o'clock pm (I leave at 1 pm and it's just around the corner, just so you know), we lunched and I've passed out on my sister's bed. That's how tired I am. Makes me wonder if I can ever get a full time job without having my soul sucked, dementor like. So if I don't post in like a week, please assume I'm dead in an alley. So, here goes; Back in the day I used to think there were a lot of celebrities, because whenever I turned out to, always somewhere were talking about someone famous. I had no idea what pink magazines we

Pretentious phony modeling (utterly critical update).

One thing I cannot understand is the "Shop my closet" trend. I mean, I do get it. Everyone loves the idea of getting a commission for clothes they are modeling without physically selling them at the store. Kinda like sponsors for Influencers. Except, making a video for a "home-made" (or anywhere made, to be honest, takes originality) campaign is something that I find thrilling and rather exciting, and actually see the results (see Safiya Nygaard on youtube, for example). We get to accompany the influencer's journey on a before and after and get the description (assuming they are speaking the truth), about which clothes they are wearing. But when an image is still and someone tells "buy these clothes, they look super good! Use my *discount* code to get X% off!", how are you supposed to trust them? Yes buy... At your own risk. "But it looked good on the model!" The "model", who is a slim, thin and elegantly wasted looking figur

Hello everyone. I'm trying really hard to update this, even if I don't know exactly what to talk about, I'm just going to continue rambling instead. So I visited GoogleTrends , in order to pick a niche, or to find something to talk about that didn't include make-up, fashion, food, or any other thing that now a days kids and youtubers are constantly talking about. I know this might result in a lack of interest from other people, but I seriously cannot see myself filming a youtube tutorial or write a 2,000 word description on how to apply eyeliner, when everyone knows how to do that. I wanted more substancial, something that had to do with MY interests. I typed in "Goth" and it led me to "Gothic (lifestyle)". Everyone knows that there aren't many goths out there anymore and 1980's-2009's era is looong gone, so it was expected to see a massive dropping on it. Notice how I chose from 2004 forward. But it's also important
