Look What You Made Me Do

Image
How is you, my lovelies? It's the Spring Equinox today and this is pretty much me: I have a post planned but decided to do a little marketing on social platforms first, since it'll need massive impact, so that people can actually participate in it. Motivated by the will to sound a little less uncultured, I've dived onto youtube and because of friend's suggestions (let me make a parenthesis here - friend who said "I don't listen to much. What do you like?" so I proudly showed him AFI, to which he replied with his actual repertoire of music. This is an accurate gif of how I feel near him: ) Now the platform is showing me new stuff and what's more interesting is, I'm actually listening. Never really been a fan of listening to *new* music, as I've been too much stuck on the old things I listened. Bands constantly followed me on twitter (it's my main network) asking me to check them out. I never really did, unfortunately. But I guess

Pretentious phony modeling (utterly critical update).

One thing I cannot understand is the "Shop my closet" trend. I mean, I do get it. Everyone loves the idea of getting a commission for clothes they are modeling without physically selling them at the store. Kinda like sponsors for Influencers. Except, making a video for a "home-made" (or anywhere made, to be honest, takes originality) campaign is something that I find thrilling and rather exciting, and actually see the results (see Safiya Nygaard on youtube, for example). We get to accompany the influencer's journey on a before and after and get the description (assuming they are speaking the truth), about which clothes they are wearing. But when an image is still and someone tells "buy these clothes, they look super good! Use my *discount* code to get X% off!", how are you supposed to trust them? Yes buy... At your own risk. "But it looked good on the model!" The "model", who is a slim, thin and elegantly wasted looking figur

Dubious online courses

Hello dear reader. First of all let me thank you for keeping up with my blog if you do, and let me also apologize as I try to update every other day, sometimes it's hard for me because I think it would come out as bothersome for you. So today I was (again) figuring out what to do with my life and I think I have a pretty good idea. Although to be able to conclude it, I need some sort of marketing experience, which I have exactly none. Perhaps you don't know, but I'm not really a fan of universities/colleges or any institution that would force me to stay there for the minimum amount of 3 years to get a degree. (Oh no, commitment problems y'all!) I always thought that there were other good opportunities to get the experience, even if 98% of the jobs ask for a graduate degree. Shortcuts. Life is made for shortcuts, losers. Anyway, I started searching again online, but this time for something specific, such as marketing. Before, there were languages, psychology, cri

How I almost hung up on who I truly am.

First of all, let me start with a selfie. Today. Just because this is a post about the latest thing I figured it works for me. I'm not sure why would you be interested in it, but if you try it for yourself and it does work, leave me a comment.  Also with my favorite song, which kinda sets the mood for the whole post; A brief introduction: I lived in exclusion, by my own initiative from the world since 2012. It has been 6 years, I finally understood what's been wrong about me; I stopped talking to myself: my creative ideas stopped flowing, my language skills dropped and my overall intelligence (not much, still valuable) also deceased (decreased). I started doubting myself because of constant opinionated people in my life, going from "the world is mine" to "I'm a pathetic excuse of a person who's aiming for a mediocre life just because everyone else is doing it." I said "I'm ready to surrender  my dreams and settle. I'

My new favorite thing

Hello everyone. I'm trying really hard to update this, even if I don't know exactly what to talk about, I'm just going to continue rambling instead. So I visited GoogleTrends , in order to pick a niche, or to find something to talk about that didn't include make-up, fashion, food, or any other thing that now a days kids and youtubers are constantly talking about. I know this might result in a lack of interest from other people, but I seriously cannot see myself filming a youtube tutorial or write a 2,000 word description on how to apply eyeliner, when everyone knows how to do that. I wanted more substancial, something that had to do with MY interests. I typed in "Goth" and it led me to "Gothic (lifestyle)". Everyone knows that there aren't many goths out there anymore and 1980's-2009's era is looong gone, so it was expected to see a massive dropping on it. Notice how I chose from 2004 forward. But it's also important
