Future Plans, Visual Kei + Japanese Studies
Did I mention I was going to post everyday? ARGH.
Now I can't get my word back can I? *sobs*
It gets really hard to construct and publish something when the computer is not yours, so you can't be there all the time you need to construct the texts. *sobs a lil' more*
Sorry guys (if anyone actually reads this crappy spot).
I now have an email for inquiries/contacts/ etc. Hit me up if you feel like talking!
Onto the actual post.
Music AND video to escort you this post:
New York is mean, streets aren't clean, no one's a smol bean but thing is, it's also a city of big opportunities. Meaning, if by any chance you are on the right place at the right time, you'll make it.
What I say is, if you can make it where you are, you can make it anywhere. Whether it's in New York, China, jfc, Vietnam either!
If you have what it takes, make a little bit of money and make your dreams come true. You can start making your dream come true, you just have to start NOW. (Looks like a terrible ad).
On the previous post (don't mind of it was a gazillion days ago), I said I was going to talk about traveling. Yes.
I also said I don't like traveling. Yes. Because a) I'm far from my family. b) Goodbyes are hard, always. No matter if you're only spending like a week in New York or go to Paris' Fashion Week.
But considering the situation, I wouldn't mind relocating because it is a lifelong dream to live in New York. But right now my priority is Japan. Because I feel like gaining new insight on a new culture and as I have an undying passion for everything Japanese, J-Rockers and J-music in general, it feels right. I love visual kei. *inserts kawaii gif here*
I don't know if you noticed, but there's a shortage of material *in English cough cough* of how to get Visual Kei (including hair, make up, accessories etc.) also and especially for women.
Everybody knows that Visual Kei isn't a hot topic anymore, but we also know that Japan is a teeny tiny lil' country secluded from the world, that deserves all the attention it can get.
So I'm turning this into a Japan themed blog with a special showcasing for Visual Kei bands who need more followers because they are awesome.
That doesn't mean with each post I'll publish a new one because this isn't Finnish rock (in which every corner there's a new band).
I am myself an alternative styled person, that's why I started this blog with a pastel goth theme, which I will carry on with.
On future plans are, moving to Japan in 7 months and learn all the Japanese I can until there (I'm currently on no level yet, knowing only the basic Hiragana, two or three Katakana and two or three Kanji).
I'll post studying materials if you wish. I'll also make a duplicate in Portuguese (which is my native tongue) of the posts, if you're interested in.
On today's post, I was going to post about 『アンフィル』, but as for now I'm going to talk about a band which everyone has clearly heard of before but I didn't, which is Babymetal.
Reminds me of Nightwish from early eras, minus the opera but with the eerie Japanese taste for horror.
I've only heard a song and it's enough for me to be hooked. Surely I'll listen them more often.
(Cue practice Japanese yay!)
See you soon,

They are a "kawaii metal" band, formed from the junction of Japanese Idol Genders and Metal, according to wikipedia. (Kinda like the combination between pastel colors and black aka pastel goth).
Which is actually a strangely good combination. (Which I could think of none so I googled strange foods and ended up feeling sick instead.)Reminds me of Nightwish from early eras, minus the opera but with the eerie Japanese taste for horror.
