The Whole of The Moon

Image
It's 80's time on VH1 Classic and I find myself here, writing at "The Whole of The Moon" by Waterboys and I realize I've known all of these songs from the heart, but had no idea about the band's appearance. Unlike now a days, no one cared about it. This is the time I recall my mother listening all these songs on the car radio and singing along - something she doesn't do today anymore, since she's also moved on from the 80's, just like everyone else, much to my dismay. And the video clips were plain stupid, which makes it even better. Also realized that, it was probably 98 or 99 and almost 20 years since the songs were released yet, they still played on constant repeat on the radio. Now we have dedicated radios to the 80's, which plays everything but the 80's. - The world is in desperate need of a good punk-rock brand new band to spring up the scene back into the spotlight. It's not just the established bands that count. Everyone

A Realization.

Hello sweet Sakura petals! I have some really important news for you. At least they are, to me. I mean... Inspiration hit me since yesterday, but then this morning I saw the newest Dumbo trailer and completely lost it.. *long, sad face*. Why would anyone do a live action of Dumbo, cast Colin Farrell, Eva Green and a bunch of A-List actors who actually don't fit the roles? I haven't even seen Dumbo, nor want to. The only Disney Movies I care about are The Lion King and The Emperor's New Groove. (To be honest, the second one is the greatest animated movie of all time). Tim Burton you're being one of the biggest disappointments of my 25 years of life. I realized how over rated Nightmare Before Christmas actually is, and now it kinda makes me nauseous. Perhaps because it's always on TV now and people think it funny seeing Jack, who has become an icon for Halloween and cosplaying him all the time, although I have a dark personality and that's one of the

Did I mention I was going to post everyday? ARGH. Now I can't get my word back can I? *sobs* It gets really hard to construct and publish something when the computer is not yours, so you can't be there all the time you need to construct the texts. *sobs a lil' more* Sorry guys (if anyone actually reads this crappy spot). I now have an email for inquiries/contacts/ etc. Hit me up if you feel like talking! deartatsume@gmail.com Onto the actual post. Music AND video to escort you this post: "If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere that's what they say." Thing is, Alicia... It's not only New York. New York is mean, streets aren't clean, no one's a smol bean but thing is, it's also a city of big opportunities. Meaning, if by any chance you are on the right place at the right time, you'll make it. What I say is, if you can make it where you are, you can make it anywhere. Whether it's in New York, China, jfc, Vietnam

Obnoxiously preposterously procrastinating life in general and yoga practice

You read that correctly. That's the description of myself that I came up with, today. We all have the tools to improve ourselves. Take like, someone who wants to exercise but finds excuses not to, for example: - I'm too tired today. - Gyms are expensive. - Too much of a bother to take a trip to the gym. - Don't want to make a fool of myself in front of others. - Don't want to run on the street because it's dangerous. The list goes on. (By the way, those are the excuses I use on a daily basis.) I mean, come on. That's what I would look like on a treadmill. Instead, I found out this amazing thing called *drum roll* YOGA. It's great because it makes you sweat, specially if you are on a fast-paced exercise.  The thing I love the most is; my back and neck aches are gone and these breathing exercises really work.  The other day I was at my job and had to go talk with the administrative (which I hate) and my heart was pounding too fast. So I t

Hello dear reader. First of all let me thank you for keeping up with my blog if you do, and let me also apologize as I try to update every other day, sometimes it's hard for me because I think it would come out as bothersome for you. So today I was (again) figuring out what to do with my life and I think I have a pretty good idea. Although to be able to conclude it, I need some sort of marketing experience, which I have exactly none. Perhaps you don't know, but I'm not really a fan of universities/colleges or any institution that would force me to stay there for the minimum amount of 3 years to get a degree. (Oh no, commitment problems y'all!) I always thought that there were other good opportunities to get the experience, even if 98% of the jobs ask for a graduate degree. Shortcuts. Life is made for shortcuts, losers. Anyway, I started searching again online, but this time for something specific, such as marketing. Before, there were languages, psychology, cri

My new favorite thing

Hello everyone. I'm trying really hard to update this, even if I don't know exactly what to talk about, I'm just going to continue rambling instead. So I visited GoogleTrends , in order to pick a niche, or to find something to talk about that didn't include make-up, fashion, food, or any other thing that now a days kids and youtubers are constantly talking about. I know this might result in a lack of interest from other people, but I seriously cannot see myself filming a youtube tutorial or write a 2,000 word description on how to apply eyeliner, when everyone knows how to do that. I wanted more substancial, something that had to do with MY interests. I typed in "Goth" and it led me to "Gothic (lifestyle)". Everyone knows that there aren't many goths out there anymore and 1980's-2009's era is looong gone, so it was expected to see a massive dropping on it. Notice how I chose from 2004 forward. But it's also important

9:50 am.

It's 9:50 am and I am staring at a blank page, thinking about what I am going to say on my first post, ever. I've run blogs before, but let's just say that they failed. Miserably. I've decided that this one is going to be completely spontaneous: meaning, I won't create texts to please anyone, but I am going to try to fit in and more importantly, keep this updated. Not that anyone will read it, I believe. I'm a part-time goth after all. The term "part-time goth" came onto my mind whilst I was making fun of myself. Yeah, I do that a lot. I work in a place where they don't allow us to have make-up, different hair colors or even painted nails. Because we work with unprepared food goods, they state that "nail polish can scrape on the thins of the coca-colas" (even though we use gloves), for example, and that the perfume can "pass on to the food" (even though it's practically everything wrapped up in plastic). So I'm
